Cigna Coverage Availability & Fees
Most of Cigna’s dental insurance plans offer benefits that work something like this:
- Up to complete coverage for routine preventive care like X-rays, checkups, and cleanings
- About 80% coverage for minor restorative work like fillings and gum disease treatments
- About 50% coverage for major restorative work like root canal treatments and surgeries
- No coverage for oral sedation treatments, but there may be exceptions for patients with medical conditions that make it difficult to remain still
